For seven-year-old Alicia Dabrowski, life is hard.  In one day her family has gone from reasonably wealthy to abject poverty, thanks to the communist Russian government. Alicia and her family are Polish, and their communist oppressors are shipping them off to Siberia to be political prisoners.

Frozen Footprints is the story of how Alicia's family survived in the Siberian slave labor camps and how she went on to search for freedom in every aspect of her life. Eventually, Alicia came to America to live the American dream.

After working to get an education and enter the work force, eventually Alicia and her husband Hank realized that they were not living the freedom Alicia had always dreamed of--that the work-a-day routine was just another form of slavery. They searched for a way to change that, and found it in building a very large and profitable business.

Frozen Footprints is mostly the story of Alicia's pursuit of freedom--both politically and financially. She offers many lessons on how everyone can achieve freedom. At the center of everything for her is her and Hank's deep faith in Jesus Christ.

This is a story of Faith and freedom that everyone needs to read. It should touch and inspire anyone who reads it.
