Hmm.  Quite interesting.  First of all I will mention (at the request of a reader) that Rammstein is NOT a Christian band. This is a good industrial metal band with a unique style.  All the lyrics are in German, so there will be no quotes.  I remember quite a while ago my old drummer telling me about this band and mentioning that they were a lot like our band would have been if we had gone techno/industrial (something we had aspired to do).  I never got around to listening to them.  Then one day, one of the kids I work with bought this album.  I asked about it because I thought it sounded familiar.  Well, I looked on the net and found some sound files.  I was hooked and then knew it was the same band my old drummer had told me about.

The album starts out with some weird synth thing and then kicks right into a really cool moshy riff.  The use of keyboards is prominent.  The guitar riffs follow the keyboard riffs and enhance them.

This is not an album like something Scott Albert would have made.  Rammstein's music is clearly based in the keyboard and is less a "techno-heavy metal" thing than it is an electronica thing.  The music is moshy, jumpy, danceable, and keeps the attention.  Definitely not boring like Ministry.  And the production is much better than anything I've ever heard from Trent Reznor.

My least favorite part of this album is the vocalist.  He's kind of annoying at times.  Overall, I really like the album.  I guess I might take musical recommendations from kids at work more often.
